As the senior vice president of franchise sales at HomeSmart International, Bryan Brooks is responsible for spearheading the company’s domestic and international franchise growth initiatives, which include mergers, acquisitions, rolls-ins and conversion opportunities.
Brooks says his greatest accomplishment in 2019 was the growth of the HomeSmart International brand by more than 35 new franchises across six new states and two acquisitions that grew the company by more than 1,500 agents.
“I believe HomeSmart is the future of real estate,” says Brooks. “The growth we’ve seen in the last year has proven there is a shift in the industry, and our model and what we’re doing is working.”
With 20 years of industry experience under his belt, Brooks has used his vast knowledge about real estate brokerage operations and expertise in franchising to grow the HomeSmart International network since joining the team in 2015. He also helped the company become one of Franchise Business Review’s Top Franchises of 2018 and 2019 for overall franchisee satisfaction.
Brooks previously held leadership positions at other notable franchise organizations, including Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, ERA Real Estate and Realty Executives International. He led highly productive sales teams in many of these roles. Prior to his career in franchise sales, Brooks spent time in the title and escrow sector. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran.
