Chris Smith

Chris Smith, who has worked with Gardner REALTORS® in New Orleans for over 15 years, has consistently been a multimillion-dollar top earner and has received several local and national real estate awards. He was included among the 2019 Top 100 Real Estate Agents in the USA and received Zillow 5-Star Agent and Best of Zillow awards. Smith has been the top REALTOR® in the metropolitan area for over 10 years and has consistently had the greatest number of closed transactions year after year.

Smith moved from his hometown of Birmingham, Ala., to New Orleans in 2002 for a job transfer in the construction equipment sales and management field. Once he arrived, however, he was captivated by the city’s unique and charming architecture, its diverse neighborhoods, and the friendly and kind spirit of its people. Shortly thereafter, Smith enrolled in night classes to prepare to take the real estate licensing exam. After earning his license in 2003, he began working full-time at Gardner REALTORS®.

Smith believes a home symbolizes a need in a person’s life that has to be addressed and that a REALTOR®’s job is to guide clients through the often overwhelming home-buying or -selling process to effect positive changes in their lives. Smith and his fellow REALTORS® have tremendous pride in their profession and respect for their responsibilities to their clients.
