Connie Mahan

Connie Mahan, broker and owner of Connie Mahan Real Estate Group, was named REALTOR® of the Year for Lake and Sumter Counties, Florida, in 2023. She also founded the Sumter Crossing chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® last year and served as its first president.

Mahan was named treasurer of the local association’s board of directors and served as chairperson of the Professional Standards Committee, co-chair of the UWLSV Community Resource Development Advisory Board, and area director of the Residential Real Estate Council’s District 7. She participated in several think tanks focused on issues related to Florida real estate and served as a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Leading Edge Advisory Board, as well as the boards of directors for multiple community organizations.

According to Mahan, the most rewarding part of her career is “training new agents, to get ‘it.’ There’s no secret sauce. No one is coming to save you. You are the CEO of your business.”
