Marc Demetriou

Marc Demetriou serves as senior vice president of mortgage lending and branch manager for Guaranteed Rate. He won New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s Five Star Mortgage Professional award for superior customer service and professionalism for the sixth time in 2023.

From a young age, Demetriou was inspired by his grandfather’s hard work. He learned principles for achieving success and leading a fulfilling life, including the belief that success is a choice.

Demetriou shared those insights in a book entitled “Lessons from My Grandfather: Wisdom For Success in Business and Life.” He wrote the third edition of the book last year.

“The most rewarding part of my career is that I get to guide, educate and assist people with one of the largest financial transactions of their life,” says Demetriou. “Also, that so many professionals rely on me to take care of their clients, and not only do I make their clients happy, but I make the referring professionals happy as well by making them look good by having referred their client to me but also by having taken great care of their client.”
