Pillar To Post Home Inspectors

As president and CEO of Pillar To Post Home Inspectors, Dan Steward is always putting forth ideas to place the company, which has served well over 3 million families, at the cutting edge of home inspections.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, the company ranked as the No. 1 franchise opportunity in its category by Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500. It’s the company’s 19th year in a row for this honor.

“We’re thrilled to once again be recognized as the leader in our category,” says Steward, who credits the corporate staff, franchisees, vendors and experts he’s networked with throughout the years as integral to the success of the system.

2019 also brought many new franchisees on board from home-related industries who want the power of a national brand behind them.

One of the company’s biggest advantages is its tremendous training program that provides comprehensive training for all new franchisees during the first year of their business. Through their Foundations For Success training and business launch program, franchisees receive two weeks of in-person, instructor-led, hands-on education that covers all aspects of home inspecting, as well as business opportunities, marketing and business management.

A new partnership with The Salvation Army encourages buyers and sellers to donate unwanted goods to the charitable organization, with the proceeds from the donations going toward The Salvation Army’s innovative Real Estate for Rehabilitation program.

The Salvation Army’s Real Estate for Rehabilitation program will use the proceeds from the donation to help fund 139 adult rehabilitation centers across the U.S. that offer free drug and rehabilitation programs.
