Ida Petkus

In addition to being a REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty, Ida Petkus has been recognized for her work advocating for victims of domestic violence who have the right to live safely in their homes.

Petkus is the founder of the Domestic Violence Advocacy Center, which utilizes Zoom to connect with victims, counseling them so that they know they are not alone while educating them about open shelters and how to safely leave an abuser.

The call service connects victims with attorneys, and as Petkus explains, “This is powerful, as the victim knows they are not alone.”
