Jennifer Alter Warden

Baird & Warner

In 2019, Jennifer Alter Warden was named one of Crain’s Notable Women Over 50 and was elected president of the International Women’s Forum Chicago Board. As chief operating officer and executive vice president of Baird & Warner, Warden works closely with the presidents of the company’s three divisions to ensure that they have the marketing and technology strategies and resources they need to operate effectively.

In addition, Warden serves on the company’s executive committee and works to create an environment that empowers people to improve and succeed. That has helped Baird & Warner consistently rank as a top Chicagoland workplace.

Since joining Baird & Warner in 1995, Warden has launched the company’s home services, e-business and title operations. She created the Good Will Network, the company’s charitable initiative, in 2002. Warden still oversees the program, which has donated over $2.4 million and thousands of volunteer hours to numerous organizations that serve the homeless.

Warden graduated from Oberlin College and earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She has a background in communications, public relations and journalism. Before joining Baird & Warner, Warden was principal of her own marketing communications firm for eight years and worked for four years in marketing and management for a national wholesale distribution company.
