Kathryn Redican is vice president of operations for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England, New York & Westchester Properties. As a leader, she oversees key departments, drives business development and technology implementation, and offers personal guidance to workers, pushing them to be the best versions of themselves.
Redican says her greatest accomplishment of 2019 was improving the company’s marketing automation and follow-up, building an actionable email for listings that links directly to multiple vendors and having mortgage reps follow up on open house attendees in real time.
“The seamless sharing of information across our vendors and platforms to convert prospects into buyers is a place where we made huge strides–an initiative that I take pride in spearheading,” she says.
Redican started her career in real estate the day after graduating college, working as a receptionist at The Sunshine Group in New York City. After receiving three promotions in under two years as the company merged with The Corcoran Group, she became a project manager at Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, overseeing luxury projects for major developers. On weekends, Redican worked as a sales executive. She later became director of marketing at the LeFrak Organization while simultaneously providing consulting to Starwood Capital Group. After nine years in Manhattan, she returned to her home state of Connecticut and joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties.
Redican finds inspiration in a quote from John Wooden: “Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”
