Kim Vincent, senior sales vice president at Sibcy Cline, is dedicated to connecting clients to homes that fit their lifestyles and personalities. Vincent has been a REALTOR® for 15 years and says she still loves it. She previously worked as an occupational therapist for 25 years before retiring.

Vincent has been involved with Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) since 2017 and is currently one of the leaders of its Forever Home initiative. This new model of serving adults with developmental disabilities lets them live inclusive lives in single-family homes in walkable, safe communities. Home automation and adaptive technologies allow limited funds to serve more people. Vincent led the development of a strategy that raised $3.6 million for the project. In 2019, Vincent found homes for 11 individuals who had previously lived in more institutional settings.

Four years ago, Vincent started an event for the Cincinnati Reds to highlight community residents with different abilities. Since then, 20 nonprofit organizations have come together to celebrate diversity by having individuals with different abilities perform roles that are usually performed by more able-bodied people, such as bat boy and national anthem singer, at Reds games. In 2019, Major League Baseball adopted that model to be used in all baseball parks.

Vincent, a wife, mother of three and grandmother of three, offers this piece of advice to others: “Find your gift, and share it in your community. It has greatly enhanced my work experience and, more importantly, my life.”
