Co-founders of the top-producing Milano-Rambarran Team at Brown Harris Stevens, Candace Milano and Malessa Rambarran have made giving back to the larger real estate community a cornerstone of their business philosophy. In 2023, they led the team to more than $110 million in sales, and currently market more than $250 million in properties. Milano and Rambarran are also co-founders of TOWRE, The Organization by Women in Real Estate, a groundbreaking real estate financial literacy program bridging the gap between the next generation of wealth builders and their real estate goals.

“It was not until I became a real estate agent that I was able to gain the knowledge to best utilize this investment strategy,” says Rambarran. “The lack of financial literacy is still prevalent, so it is a personal mission to bridge that gap to empower people including Millennials and Gen Z with a focus on women.”

Last year, they launched a podcast called “The Build Up” to share the secrets of building wealth through real estate from successful investors, including pro athletes, artists, tech founders and more. The goal is to bring awareness and knowledge to the different investment types from the more hands-on approach of being a landlord, flipping a home, or group-up development to the more passive options like investing in a REIT or in crowdfunding alternatives.

“Seeing others achieve financial independence and build generational wealth through the lessons, connections, and experiences I’ve gained in my career is incredibly fulfilling,” says Milano. “It’s a way for me to give back and ensure that others don’t have to face the same challenges and setbacks I did.”
