Matt Curtis is broker/owner and chief visionary officer of Matt Curtis Real Estate, Inc., a fast-growing team of real estate specialists based in Madison, Alabama.

In 2019, Matt Curtis Real Estate received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Gold Award for Best Places to Work from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and the 1,408th spot in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S.

Curtis is fond of the maxim, “To whom much is given, much is expected.”

Curtis’ passion for real estate comes largely as a result of personal experience. He grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in computer engineering. In 2005, as an employee of National Instruments, Curtis was transferred to Huntsville, Alabama, to become the local sales engineer. It was here that he began investing in real estate, and because he couldn’t find the right agent, he decided to become his own.

Within that year, Curtis was offered a job with one of the nation’s top builders, beginning his full-time real estate career. He helped two clients purchase a home in his first week and quickly became the builder’s top producer for the 3.5 years he worked there. At the end of 2009, Curtis launched Matt Curtis Real Estate, Inc. In 2012, he hired the first member of a team that has since grown by approximately 500% to-date and was projected to reach 1,200 transactions in 2019.
