Mike Golden

Mike Golden is co-founder and co-CEO of @properties, the largest residential brokerage firm in Chicago and one of the 12 largest brokerage firms in the U.S. In less than 20 years, Golden and his business partner, Co-CEO Thad Wong, have built a company with more than 2,700 licensed agents generating $10 billion in annual sales.

In 2019, @properties formally launched pl@tform, a proprietary end-to-end brokerage technology solution that includes marketing, CRM and transaction-management tools. The company also expanded its reach beyond the Midwest through a new partnership with Ansley Atlanta Real Estate, one of the fastest-growing independent brokerage firms in the Atlanta metro area.

Golden began his professional career in Chicago in the early 1990s as a human resources consultant to Fortune 500 companies. In 1995, he started selling real estate part time and, within three years, had become the top-producing REALTOR® in the city. He joined forces with Wong in 2000 to establish @properties. The company has received numerous honors, including recognition on the Inc. 500/5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America and Crain’s Chicago Business “Fast Fifty” list of the fastest-growing companies in Chicago. @properties has also raised more than $1 million for various charities through its nonprofit foundation, @gives back. 

Golden sits on the board of directors of Maryville Academy, a childcare organization for families and children in need. He is a past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and was honored as the 2011 CAR REALTOR® of the Year.
