Pamela Liebman

The Corcoran Group

Pamela Liebman joined Corcoran as an agent in 1984, at the age of 23.

With a string of headline-worthy deals, she became a sales manager within months and then a partner in the company. In 1995, she launched the Corcoran Group Marketing division, which later merged with the Sunshine Marketing Group to become the powerhouse Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.

In 2000, Liebman stepped up as Corcoran’s president and CEO. Liebman leads more than 2,200 agents and employees, and has been a vital force in the New York City residential real estate industry for over 30 years. She’s responsible for expanding the brand’s presence both within the U.S. and internationally with the recent launch of the Corcoran franchise business, which targets global megacities and sought-after leisure markets around the world.

Liebman was named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2019 “50 Most Powerful Women in New York” list. She has been a fixture on the magazine’s biennial list since its inception in 2007.

Additionally, Liebman secured the coveted assignment to market and sell all residential properties at the Hudson Yards new development project, which opened in 2019 on Manhattan’s West Side and is among the largest private development projects in U.S. history. In addition, through assurances of Liebman’s personal involvement, Corcoran was awarded the opportunity to manage sales at 220 Park Avenue South, a residential new development property in Manhattan, where a penthouse was sold for $240 million in 2019.
