Joining the San Francisco Bay Area’s Red Oak Realty in 2007, CEO and Owner Vanessa Bergmark has led the firm from 12th in marketshare to “hugging second” with a formula that focuses on providing agents with the right support to serve in a consultative capacity to the region’s discerning real estate consumers.
In 2018, Bergmark led the more than 40-year-old firm through a top-to-bottom rebranding that updated its image across all mediums—physical, print and digital. “We looked at how our colors and logo play in the digital world across social media and all the digital portals, as well as print,” said Bergmark earlier this year. “We needed to make sure we wouldn’t get lost in the volume. We wanted to get both higher marketshare and consumer mindshare.”
Bergmark brings her future-minded strategies to the speaking circuit at an array of industry events, including the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) Women’s Initiative, the Leverage Global Partner’s Navigate National Conference, the National Association of REALTORS® Broker Summit and Annual Conference, the Who’s Who in Luxury National Conference and RISMedia’s CEO Exchange, to name a few. She is a member of C.A.R.’s Strategic Planning Committee, and Red Oak was named the No. 37 Top Women-Owned Company in the Bay Area by SF Magazine in 2017, and No. 27 in 2018.
