In 2021, Webb Jay joined other brokers across Louisiana to form Greater Southern MLS. Their goal was to offer a single, statewide MLS to expand marketing opportunities for all listings and to save money by helping real estate professionals avoid paying for redundant MLS dues.

Greater Southern MLS has grown to include more than 65 broker shareholders, two REALTOR® association shareholders, and more than 1,700 subscribers. It has become the third-largest multiple listing service in Louisiana.

“….Beyond my role in brokerage, one thing that motivated me to get involved with the initiative to start a statewide MLS was the goal of the founding group of brokers to do it with excellence,” Jay says. “Ultimately seeing how we have all come together from around the state to create positive change while equipping brokers and agents to better serve their clients and customers spoke to my own personal and business values of doing things with excellence!”
