RISMEDIA, March 29, 2007-Houlihan Lawrence, an independent brokerage in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, has announced the 2007 recipients of its Top Producer, Rookie of the Year and the Team Award.
All four recipients work in Houlihan Lawrence's Bronxville office. Rita Steinkamp was awarded the Top Producer company wide, Maria Wein Devaney was named Rookie of the Year and the Team Award went out to Sarah French and Toni Bessone. These awards are given out annually based on the merit and performance the brokers have demonstrated throughout the year.
Steinkamp, recipient of the Top Producer Award, has been a lifetime resident of Bronxville. Over the past twenty years, Steinkamp has consistently been a top producer for the office and for the company.
Wein Devaney received the Rookie of the Year award after having a successful first year at Houlihan Lawrence. Raised in Bronxville, Wein Devaney graduated from Georgetown University in 1990 and began her professional career at Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan where she worked in the Fashion and Public Relations office. She then joined Vogue Magazine as the Merchandising Editor before moving to The New York Times where she spent nearly seven years in Advertising Sales and Marketing Promotion. Wein Devaney continues to be involved with her alma mater, Georgetown University and in 2006 was the recipient of the William Gaston Award for Outstanding Alumni Service and recently selected to sit on Georgetown's Board of Governors. She currently resides in Bronxville with her husband and three children.
The Team Award went to Sarah French and Toni Bessone who have earned a company-wide reputation as Houlihan Lawrence's #1 team based on dollar volume of properties sold as well as number of transactions. French and Bessone have 20 years of real estate experience and base their successful careers on trust in each other and a shared desire to give their clients the best possible care and service. French has a natural instinct for real estate and is able to provide valuable, right-on information, which has proved time after time to make the difference for her clients. Bessone, a seasoned negotiator, focuses on the needs of her clients to ensure that the sales process goes as smoothly as possible, making sure that the client's personal needs and wants are met.
