Training & Business Development: What Do Attitudes, Communities and Declining Realtors Have in Common?

What has become the first stop in the morning for thousands of real estate professionals is now one of the leading forums for the industry’s CEOs, authors, speakers and coaches … RealBlogging.com. Some recently added blog topics are already catching on.Take “Attitude and Expectation” for example -two key words that lead to a successful life, control the successful outcome of your business, marriage and many areas of your life; but also a recent post by Dirk Zeller. Beginning his real estate career in 1990, he has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the industry, being described by many as one of the most successful agents in terms of high production.

Today Zeller, through his company Real Estate Champions, is teaching, speaking and coaching agents across North America to massive increases in production, while attaining life balance. He is one of the most published authors in success and sales training in the real estate industry with over 250 published articles and various books to his credit. Other recent postings on RealBlogging by Zeller include “Barrier to Entry, What Is Your Business Philosophy” and “Disciplines of a Champion.”

“Do You Know Your Community” asks how you provide value to the residents in the communities you target. This thought provoking post comes from Bill Miles, the EVP of Connecting Neighbors (a division of Reply! Inc.), a leading provider of online neighborhood marketing services. Via teleconference Miles has spoken to thousands of real estate professionals about niche marketing, the growth of technology in real estate and online consumer trends and now he regularly blogs on RealBlogging about growing a real estate businesses through online and niche marketing. Some of his other recent posts include “Mortgage Information You Need to Know” and “Dial In Your Negotiation Tactics to Match the Market.”

What about the blog, “4% Decline in Realtor Ranks Is Only the Beginning”? This may be the only positive to the current housing slow down-so says George Slusser in a recent post. Previously EVP of ERA Real Estate and president of Coldwell Banker Commercial Slusser made a name as the leading expert of real estate mergers and acquisitions when he authored “Acquiring for Profit.” Today Slusser is a respected business consultant and lecturer in the field of mergers and acquisitions and business management and brings a wealth of insider industry knowledge to blogs. Slusser has challenged the industry with other posting like “Customer No Service?” and “Is Relisting a Deceptive Practice?”
