Pearl Insurance Now Binds Real Estate Errors and Omissions Coverage Online

September 28, 2007
Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, Oct. 1, 2007-Pearl Insurance recently launched a new, online application that equips real estate professionals with the capability to obtain a quote for their Errors & Omissions (E&O) coverage and buy or renew at any time-when it’s most convenient for them. This cutting-edge tool provides an alternative insurance shopping method that’s more compatible with the fast-paced lifestyle of agents and brokers. Although the process is currently limited to smaller real estate firms, Pearl will be releasing an expanded version-allowing all firm sizes to apply online-in early 2008.

Pearl recognized a unique opportunity to continue their position as an industry leader through their commitment to providing unparalleled service and adaptability for their busy real estate customers. They required a solution that would not only improve the current process, but also conform to company standards for sustainable value. Pearl found the answer through a partnership with Duck Creek Technologies, Inc. and the market-leading technology of their EXAMPLE Platform®.

“The solution we developed,” explains Gary Pearl, president and chief executive officer of the Pearl Companies, “allows us to provide totally flexible customer interactions in our Online Application Center. Our customers can now log in when it’s convenient and purchase their E&O coverage immediately.”

According to the company, for 30 years, Pearl has been dedicated to offering professional liability insurance customized for the specific needs of real estate professionals. This most recent upgrade supports their devotion to the real estate industry and exemplifies their desire to continually enhance and innovate the customer experience.

“Pearl is passionate about providing our customers with state-of-the-art technology,” says Lori Johnson, chief information officer of Pearl Insurance. “The advances in product development tools, paired with the creation of our Web-based portal, enabled us to quickly get this new online sales channel to market and elevate the purchase process for our customers. We’re very pleased with the initial response and are excited about expanding this solution to the larger real estate broker/owners early next year.”

Pearl Insurance is ranked among the top direct-marketing third-party administrators in the nation and is a part of the Pearl Companies, a privately held, multifaceted organization located in Peoria Heights, Illinois. Pearl Companies also includes Pearl Technology, Pearl Benefits, Pearl Automotive, Pearl Carroll & Associates LLC, and their most recent acquisition, W.B. Griffin & Son. The Pearl Companies’ commitment to working hard, working smart, and working together has not only placed them in the enviable position they are today, but has also secured them a strong presence in the marketplace for years to come.
