RISMEDIA, May 2, 2008-Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC announced that Realty by the Sea, which services Massachusetts’ North Shore market, has joined its luxury real estate network.

The firm is located in Beverly Farms, Mass., and now will do business as By the Sea Sotheby’s International Realty.

By the Sea Realty is owned by AnneMarie Martins, and Michael Nash serves as broker of record.

“Under AnneMarie and Michael’s leadership, Realty by the Sea has become the source for North Shore clients demanding specialized knowledge and expertise,” said Michael R. Good, president and chief executive officer, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. “Their innovative and forward thinking approach has positioned them as a leader in their market in a very short time. We are proud to have them represent our brand in this important market.”

Martins believes the Sotheby’s International Realty brand will help her firm reach global clientele to whom they would not otherwise have access. “The Sotheby’s International Realty name will provide the global reach we are looking for, as well as the marketing tools and referral system that will help us reach our goals of expanding in this market,” Martins said. “After only three years in business, we have emerged as one of the top ten agencies on the North Shore in terms of sales volume. I am confident this brand will help us reach new levels of success.”According to the company, the Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 9,000 sales associates located in more than 470 offices in the United States and 29 other countries and territories. By the Sea Sotheby’s International Realty listings will be marketed on the sothebysrealty.com global website. In addition to more referral opportunities and widened exposure generated from these sources, the firm will benefit from an association with the Sotheby’s auction house and worldwide Sotheby’s International Realty marketing programs.

By the Sea Sotheby’s International Realty’s office is located at 715 Hale Street, Beverly Farms, Mass., and can be reached at (978) 865-1168. The company has 10 sales associates that service the Manchester, Gloucester, Rockport, Beverly, Salem, Marblehead, Essex, Hamilton, Wenham and Ipswich communities.
