RISMEDIA, March 24, 2010—RISMedia’s 2010 Real Estate Leadership Conference—‘The Real Estate Social Media Summit’—will provide the perfect backdrop for real estate professionals who are looking to capitalize, even in today’s challenging market.

Industry experts Sara Bonert, Kelly Roark, Stephen Schweickart, Kim Gifford and Christy May are among the top-producing agent panelists who will offer insight into using social media to your advantage during the session titled: “Creating Differentiation through Social Media” at this year’s Leadership Conference. The session will take place on Thursday, June 10 from 10:10-11:10 a.m. at the Hilton Rye Town in Westchester County, New York.

Here’s a more in-depth look at some of the panelists. Look for more profiles in Friday’s edition of the news.

Sara Bonert, Zillow
Sara Bonert is the director of broker services for Zillow, one of the most trafficked real estate websites with over 8.5 million visitors a month. Bonert works with real estate professionals around the country, helping them leverage online marketing and social media opportunities, while also promoting ways professionals can market themselves on Zillow. She is a licensed Realtor in Illinois and a member of the Chicago, Illinois and National Associations of Realtors.

Kelly Roark, VP, Interactive Sales and Development, FrontDoor.com/Scripps Networks
Kelly Roark is vice president, interactive sales and development for Scripps Networks Interactive and its FrontDoor.com real estate website powered by lifestyle media leader HGTV, offering consumers interactive how-to video and guides on the home as well as access to more than 3.6 million residential property listings. Most recently Roark served as vice president of industry development for real estate search engine Trulia.com, where she was responsible for marketing and business development outreach to the real estate community. Prior to that, she was vice president of sales and marketing for Inman News. In her current role with Scripps, she continues to develop industry partnerships and sales and marketing opportunities for brokers and agents looking to connect with the loyal audience of nearly 20 million users who visit HGTV.com, FrontDoor.com and their sister sites every month.

Stephen Schweickart, Co-Founder, VScreen
