RISMEDIA, August 23, 2010—Prudential Florida Realty, Florida Real Estate Services and WCI Communities have announced they will host the 1st Annual WCI Sunshine Kids Charity Classic: 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run in the beautiful WCI Community of Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 7:30 a.m.
Pre-registrations are currently available for the 5k Walk/Run and 10K Run Sunshine Kids Charity Classic. Participation is open to the public for this fun and charitable event. The entry fee for pre-registration is $20 or $25 after September 10 or at the event.
Corporate sponsorships are still available. Those who cannot participate in the event but would still like to make a donation to the Sunshine Kids, can send donations to The Sunshine Kids, c/o Prudential Florida Realty, 1580 Sawgrass Corporate Pkwy, Suite 400, Sunrise, FL 33323. A tax donation receipt will be sent once your donation is processed.
The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, The Sunshine Kids is committed to providing exciting, positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
Since 2001, WCI Communities Real Estate Services Division – Prudential Florida Realty, Florida Real Estate Services Sales Associates, Support and Leadership Team has been an official fund-raiser for the Sunshine Kids and have been recognized as being the number one contributor in North America, the number one contributor in Florida and have raised over $1,750,000 for the Sunshine Kids Foundation.
