RISMEDIA, December 10, 2010—Point2 announced a landmark real estate listing syndication and technology marketing agreement with California Regional MLS, Inc. (CRMLS) that will expand California for-sale residential listings’ exposure on the Internet for all 23 CRMLS local member associations and provide their 26,000 associate REALTORS® with seamless access to Point2’s advanced online marketing and lead conversion software solution, Point2 Agent, to maximize their success online. Under the deal, all future CRMLS member associations will also be covered, as the organization continues to expand.

“We’re excited to embark on this important initiative with Point2,” said Art Carter, Chief Executive Officer, California Regional MLS. “Once deployed, our local association members and their members will have access to very powerful technologies that will reshape how our members’ brokers and agents do business—not only in terms of online exposure and listing data control—but also in their ability to flow and manage online leads using state of the art tools. This is where the true benefits of syndication can be drawn.”

“Point2’s commitment to the success of brokers and agents and to the real estate industry continues to drive our vision and plans,” said Saul Klein, Senior Vice President, Point2. “We’re constantly working with our syndication and MLS partners to facilitate the exchange of standard property listing data on the Web, and expand REALTORS’® ability to reach more buyers more easily and more cost effectively.”

Under the deal, the company reports, CRMLS member association brokers and agents will be able to automate the process of posting listings on Point2’s national listing syndication network (www.listingsyndication.com), which includes approximately 50 of the Web’s highly prolific and popular real estate consumer websites and search engines, while maintaining full, cascading control and choice over syndication destinations, by the MLS or Association, the broker and, even on a listing by listing basis, the listing agent, at no charge.

Accessed seamlessly through their control panel provisioned by Point2, users will also be able to view online traffic reports to support better marketing and advertising decision making, also at no added cost to them.

More advanced traffic reports, as well as the complete Point2 Agent (www.point2Agent.com) online marketing and lead management software suite will also be at the users’ fingertips, through their control screen, on a subscription basis.

Direct lead capture from the various syndication channels, into the Point2 Agent system, will allow subscribers to leverage the platform’s advanced utilities to incubate hundreds of leads simultaneously, to help them convert more browsing prospects into clients.

Full deployment across all 23 MLSs and Associations participating in the program is expected to complete during the first quarter of 2011.
