RISMEDIA, April 6, 2011—Rhett Damon has joined the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World management team as Director of Strategic Development, while Chris Dietz has been brought on board for a newly-created position as European Director of Operations, the company has announced.
Based in the Chicago headquarters office, Damon will have responsibility for OUR WORLD™, the network’s new community platform, and a number of other Web-based initiatives. With over 12 years of online real estate experience and nearly 20 years of technology and business integration experience, he will be responsible for the integration of LeadingRE tools and technology for its 600+ global members, in addition to developing new technology partnerships for the organization.
Damon’s previous career highlights include business analyst and economist roles with major companies including UPS, launching a real estate technology firm in Dallas, and most recently leading business development for HomeFinder.com, a Classified Ventures affiliate.
Christoph (Chris) Dietz, who is based in Frankfurt, Germany, will be responsible for both network expansion and member relations in Europe, with plans to include a London office.
As European Director of Operations, Dietz will execute the network’s expansion plans by growing and managing its European footprint, including marketing efforts and brand awareness initiatives there. Dietz has almost 20 years of executive-level relocation management experience and possesses a deep insight into the European real estate industry and diverse business practices. Before joining LeadingRE, Dietz managed the Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia Pacific regions for a U.S.-based relocation management company, and prior to that, he was responsible for European relocation business development for a large real estate franchise company. Dietz’ background, management strengths and fluency in four languages will be instrumental in further strengthening LeadingRE’s footprint in European countries.
