Helping REALTORS®, Helping Clients

RISMEDIA, July 1, 2011—In today’s world of real estate, many of the industry’s on-the-go professionals require tools and programs that are not only smart and comprehensive, but flexible to their needs as well. Forward-thinking, technology-savvy REALTORS® can benefit from the assistance of these time-saving tools as they work toward efficiently keeping their buyers and sellers happy. Thanks to a partnership with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® improves the home-buying and -selling process for all involved.

The Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® helps facilitate important, yet time-consuming tasks for agents, working to aid them in better serving their clients. The program provides a unique and customizable direct mail and email platform, which includes the ability for REALTORS® to pass special savings to Lowe’s directly to their clients. All of these services are free for NAR members.

According to Wes Brooks, a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Shooltz Realty in Oxford, Michigan, the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® helps him with his own marketing efforts substantially. “It’s easy, professional and a great way of keeping my name in front of my clients. It helps my clients with great products with a great savings, along with helping me with a level of quality marketing that assists in my own personal overhead cost management,” he says.

Whether through direct mail or email, members can tailor messages with their own branding, including photographs, tips or other information they’d like to share. Both versions are complete with a 10%-off coupon for use in Lowe’s stores.

“The Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® is one of the best benefits available to allow agents to keep their name and face in front of clients in a positive mode,” says Mary Cioffi, a REALTOR® for Coldwell Banker Best Sellers in Nevada. “Every client mentions how much they appreciate it and tells me what they used it for.”

Nancy Newman, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Precision Realty in Newington, Connecticut, agrees. “This has been an excellent opportunity for my customers to save money while increasing value in their homes,” she says. “I am very happy to receive the calls on what renovations they have completed.”

Additionally, the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® offers both a monthly business-to-consumer e-newsletter (entitled Inside Out) and six-day-a-week e-newsletter (entitled Daily Real Estate News) to provide agents with current information, industry news, housing trend information and more, ensuring that REALTORS® are experts in their local territories who have the information their consumers demand. This influx of content helps members foster the expertise necessary in order to build and maintain crucial relationships with the buyers and sellers of today.

With all of the program’s finely attuned features, agents nationwide continue to praise the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® for its powerful tools that continuously help its members strengthen their spheres of influence.

“I have used the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® many times and have noticed that by telling people about this added feature, it has often been the final nail to close the deal,” says Ken Lawrence, a REALTOR® with Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. To those not taking advantage, Lawrence says: “You are making a big mistake.”

According to Lorilyn Barrett of Coldwell Banker Yorke Realty, in Yorke, Maine, the program is a “fantastic tool” that lets her clients know that she has them front of mind.

Barrett likes the added bonus of being able to download her client activity list to use as a marketing resource, another asset that helps her remain a top producer in her state.

“Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® has done a nice job presenting a quality product,” she says. “I am proud to be associated with it.”

The Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® is free for NAR members and offers exclusive, personal marketing tools from Lowe’s through its partnership in NAR’s REALTOR Benefits® Program.
