OBEO and Virtual Agent Announce Partnership, Launch of Mobile Marketing Solution

RISMEDIA, August 11, 2011—Obeo, a leading provider of full-service photography, virtual tours and virtual staging in North America, and Virtual Agent, a mobile technology provider for major real estate brokerages throughout the United States, have announced a partnership to bring mobile marketing solutions to Obeo’s highly popular online interactive real estate products tailored toward homebuyers and sellers.

The National Association of REALTORS® reports eight of 10 homebuyers will drive by a property for sale. Considering wireless communications has penetrated ninety six percent of the U.S. population according to the CTIA wireless association, consumers can now receive property information like interior photos and YouTube virtual video to their mobile phone without leaving their car.

Throughout the week of July 25, Obeo rolled-out the launch of new mobile capabilities to its product suite including Obeo HomeSite, Obeo StyleDesigner and Obeo SpaceDesigner which provide virtual tours, virtual decorating, virtual staging, vStager, video, interactive floor plans, and syndicated listing exposure to top real estate portals.

Simons commented that studies show almost 98 percent of all text messages are opened and read. Of all the marketing mediums like email, phone campaigns, direct mail and online ads, he says none are more widely viewed than text messages. With Obeo’s new mobile solutions, real estate agents can better connect with customers through, for example, targeted text message notifications on price reductions, open houses and comparable property information, according to the companies.

The companies stated that Obeo’s products now use the Virtual Agent Platform to allow real estate agents to incorporate text messaging, mobile web, automated voice (IVR), QR codes (unique graphic codes similar in function to a barcode) into various marketing materials such as property signs, print advertisements and online marketing and social media networks.
