On Sunday, August 14, Delaware’s local daily newspaper The News Journal published “Top Workplaces 2011”—a list of the best places to work in the state, and Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate was ranked 9th among mid-size companies (100-499 employees) placing the company in the top 10 for two years in a row.
According to the company, the evaluation for the Top Workplaces program was based upon an initial nomination and subsequent feedback from an employee survey that was distributed electronically. 100 companies participated in the program but only 50 companies were selected for the Top Workplaces award.
Patterson-Schwartz scored highest in the area of direction with employees citing their confidence in the company’s leadership and strong values in ethics, the company stated.
