Company Spotlight: How Goomzee’s Mobile Tech Platform Is Generating Interest among Today’s Buyers

In today’s competitive real estate market, it’s more important than ever for real estate professionals to think outside the box when it comes to connecting with potential buyers. The days of sticking a simple For Sale sign in the front yard are long gone, as today’s buyers are looking for an agent who will go out of their way to get them into their dream home. By incorporating the latest technology into their marketing plan, agents can seamlessly connect with buyers and instantly provide property information, giving them an edge over other real estate professionals. Dan Vallee, broker/president of Royal Florida Realty has seen firsthand just how important a mobile marketing solution is. Having partnered with Goomzee just a few months ago (at press time), Vallee has been able to get motivated buyers to connect with the company by using Goomzee’s mobile technology platform to generate interest among today’s savvy real estate consumers.

Reaching Out to Potential Buyers
“Connecting with buyers is the name of the game in today’s market,” says Vallee, who has taken an out-of-the-box approach when it comes to utilizing Goomzee’s mobile platform. In fact, one of the first things a potential buyer sees when they visit Royal Florida Realty’s website (www.royalfloridarealty.com) is a short video created by Vallee that explains how the Goomzee mobile app works, enticing visitors to the site to download the app. “As more buyers turn to the Internet to begin the home search process, the video acts as a great tool to capture buyers,” he adds. “Once an individual downloads the app from the website, their contact information is stored in the system and I can call them back within minutes.”

Not only does the Goomzee app provide potential buyers with the ability to search for homes while on-the-go, its location search feature offers an added benefit to both buyers and agents alike. “As a REALTOR®, if you’re out showing properties and you happen to pass a home that you hadn’t picked to show your client, the location search enables you to pull up the property and show the client pictures of the inside right then and there.”

A Win-Win Situation
For Vallee, connecting with potential buyers doesn’t stop there. He also promotes Goomzee’s mobile app within his online listings, offering prospective buyers an additional avenue through which they can connect with both him and Royal Florida Realty. “If someone is searching for properties on Trulia—or other syndicated websites—and they pull up one of my listings, the search invite code is included right there in the property description,” says Vallee. This is another great way to generate interest among buyers to download the Goomzee app on their phone, providing Vallee with solid leads. “I can then follow up with these leads immediately and provide any information they may be seeking about the property they showed interest in. It’s truly a win-win situation.”

Taking this one step further, Vallee also reaches out to potential buyers through radio advertising and the use of car magnets. “It’s important to reach out to consumers through these avenues since a lot of people listen to the radio in their car on the way to and from work,” says Vallee. “The car magnets and back window marketing are an added bonus since consumers can see the advertisements while they are driving.”

Staying Ahead of the Curve
As technology continues to improve and the real estate industry and consumers at large increasingly turn to the computer or their phones for information, it’s becoming more crucial than ever that real estate professionals stay ahead of the curve. “As people become more tech-savvy, they expect REALTORS® to do the same,” adds Vallee. “The old style of marketing doesn’t cut it anymore.”

While working with Goomzee provides Vallee and Royal Florida Realty with a unique advantage in today’s market, their clients have responded just as enthusiastically. “Not only does the Goomzee app give prospective buyers the opportunity to search for homes when it’s convenient for them, it also gives them more control and flexibility when searching for properties they’re interested in.”
