Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Expands Presence in Texas

Reading Time: 2 mins read

Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate recently announced the addition of a College Station, Texas-based brokerage to its expanding network. Under the leadership of Jennifer Fredericks and Laurie Brown, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Preferred Living will serve the Brazos Valley real estate market, including Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Robertson and Madison Counties.

“Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Preferred Living will be a great complement to our network’s existing footprint in Texas and consists of an impressive team of leading, award-winning brokers and agents serving the region’s thriving market,” said Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “We share a joint mindset that an agent’s role is to act as a lifestyle advisor to clients by helping them buy and sell homes based on individual characteristics rather than price and number of bedrooms alone. This notion will be a key driver to the company’s success.”

Fredericks and Brown will manage brokerage operations and will continue to work with buyers and sellers in the area, according to a company release.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Preferred Living will open its office later this month. The office, a former warehouse, is being redesigned to model a traditional home, including a kitchen, Internet café, conference rooms designed like dining rooms and a community garden.

“The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Preferred Living office reflects the personalities of our agents, who helped design the space to include key attributes of a home,” said Brown. “It will have amenities and services that will make it a hub for the community. Our new franchise affiliation and our unique office space will greatly assist us in providing the professionalism and integrity needed to ensure that buyers and sellers feel secure in what may be one of the biggest decisions of their lives.”

In addition to the Brazos Valley region, the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network presence in Texas includes affiliates serving the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston markets.
