Peace in the ParkRISMEDIA, October 16, 2013–The real estate professionals at Prudential Network Realty’s St. Augustine office actively support numerous charitable events and organizations benefiting the community.

“Our team members love the St. Augustine area and care deeply about their community,” said Prudential Network Realty Broker/Manager Ann King. “Everyone is committed to community service and doing everything we can to make a difference in our local area.”

Prudential Network Realty recently stepped up for Pink Up the Pace, a nonprofit organization that assists and supports those who have been affected by breast cancer. The organization’s annual race is the largest 5K in St. Augustine. The St. Augustine office served as an event sponsor and numerous team members participated in the 5K race. Prudential Network Realty also donated a gift basket for a raffle drawing held during the Pink Up the Pace Expo.

“It’s a wonderful event and it supports a cause that is dear to my heart,” said Prudential Network Realty REALTOR® Shelley Trela. “It is very rewarding to be involved in events like this and to give back to the community.”

Trela also spearheads Prudential Network Realty’s charitable efforts benefiting Pie in the Sky. Based in Hastings, Pie in the Sky connects people with the resources they need. Prudential Network Realty recently participated in Peace in the Park and the Scarecrow Festival, two special fundraising events benefiting Pie in the Sky. The St. Augustine office also collects food year-round for the nonprofit organization’s food bank.

“Giving back to the community in which we live and work is a principle our company embraces,” said Christy Budnick, executive vice president of residential real estate, Prudential Network Realty. “Our agents and employees have a strong tradition of being involved in charitable work because they are connected to their communities.”
