SmartCEO received more than 160 nominations across the Mid-Atlantic for the award. A group of Greater Philadelphia business leaders formed the Brava! Committee and chose the 25 winners. According to Rick Crane, SmartCEO Media Regional President, Brava winners all possess the utmost qualities in a leader including vision, passion, compassion, dedication and perseverance. Every one of this year’s winners exhibits these qualities in running their business, their families and their philanthropic activities. This year’s class collectively generated more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue and employed over 4,287 individuals.
“They give 110 percent of themselves,” said Crane. The winners were celebrated at the Philadelphia Brava! Awards ceremony on July 23 at the Crystal Tea Room. This year’s winners are profiled in the July/August issue of SmartCEOmagazine.
As president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS®, Docktor has been instrumental in the company’s growth and profitability in all brokerage departments including 65 sales offices, relocation services, builder’s marketing and land development. Docktor, who started with the company in 1986, was named president in 2013. She also holds a seat on the company’s Board of Directors and is active in several outside boards. Docktor has served on the Plymouth Planning Agency and Zoning Hearing Board and is also an officer on the executive committee of the Board of Directors of Trend MLS, on the Board of Directors of The Realty Alliance, as well as a member of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and the Forum for Executive Women.
