Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate has announced the addition of Lexington, Kentucky-based brokerage Cypress Residential Group to its franchise network. The firm will now operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Cypress and will continue to serve Lexington, Georgetown, Paris, Nicholasville, Versailles, Richmond, Winchester, Frankfort, Mount Sterling and Danville. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Cypress remains under the leadership of principal broker Nick Ratliff and other co-owners Kim Soper, David Graves and Brian Lubeck, who founded the company in 2010 based on the philosophy of providing a superior level of personalized service to home buyers and sellers.

“The leadership team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Cypress possesses such passion and energy to provide an authentic and innovative experience to the consumer,” said Sherry Chris, president and CEO, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “This mindset is fully embraced by the entire company and will continue to strengthen their position as a respected pillar in the Lexington community.

The brokerage will actively look to grow its influence in the Central Kentucky market. Its modern office, within a historic 19th century building, is situated in a vibrant location on the cusp of downtown Lexington and the University of Kentucky campus, which is ideally located for high-volume foot traffic.

“We knew affiliating with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate was the right move for us when we realized our culture, passion for innovation and vision were so aligned that we didn’t need to change who we were to fit within the network,” said Ratliff, who is a lifelong Kentucky resident. “The national brand offers a sense of tradition and trust, mixed with a drive to push our industry to new limits through its lifestyle approach to real estate. We will greatly benefit from the technology platforms it offers, particularly the new lifestyle-driven property search that will give our consumers and affiliated real estate professionals a real advantage.”

Kim Soper, who was most recently named a top REALTOR® in Lexington and Central Kentucky by the Lexington Herald Leader Reader’s Choice Awards, added, “Our brokerage now has access to high-value consumer content that is unmatched by any other company in our market. This will further position our team of real estate professionals as trusted lifestyle advisors and allow us to connect with our consumers before, during and after the transaction to help them make their new house a home.”

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Cypress encourages their affiliated real estate professionals and staff to be active members in the community. Most recently, the team helped prepare holiday food boxes for those in need through the organization God’s Pantry and also kicked off the inaugural “Cruisin for Coats” program, which collected nearly 100 coats for the local Lighthouse Ministry. The brokerage also adopts a family during the holiday season, by donating clothing, fulfilling gift requests for the children and providing hot meals.
