Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate just announced  its entry into Utah with the addition of real estate brokerage The Franklin Group to its rapidly-growing franchise network. The firm will now do business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Franklin Group and will continue to serve the counties of Salt Lake, Tooele, Davis, Weber, Wasatch, Summit, Box Elder and Cache under the leadership of principal broker and CEO Marino Toulatos, along with co-owners Cathie McGregor Critchlow, Daren Gardner, Penny Stark and Shelly Russon.

“This addition of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Franklin Group marks yet another exciting milestone in our brand’s trajectory as we continue to expand to key markets,” says Sherry Chris, president and CEO, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “The brokerage’s longevity in the market, substantial influence and seasoned knowledge of the Utah lifestyle sets them apart from the competition and makes them a natural fit for our brand.”

As it has since its inception in 1993, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Franklin Group focuses on finding the right homes for its clients through the use of the latest technologies, including a customizable mobile app and website, as well as a transaction management system. The ownership team, with more than 100 years of shared real estate experience, now oversees more than 100 affiliated sales associates, spread throughout offices in Kaysville, Farr West and Ogden.

“We believe strongly that the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand recognition, marketing support, unique culture and technology tools will help us reach next-level success for our buyers, sellers and real estate professionals,” says Toulatos, principal broker and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Franklin Group. “After understanding the brand’s bold, successful and forward-thinking ideals, our decision was easy — why would we not do this? Our leadership team makes it a point to be easily accessible, and now we have additional support behind us to create efficiencies and an additional driving force that will benefit all of our affiliated real estate professionals, and especially our buyers and sellers.”

The brokerage caters to a range of consumer segments, including first-timers, luxury, land and commercial, and aims to pair each client with a home that fulfills their desired lifestyle. The Utah team looks forward to welcoming more real estate professionals to its roster while continuing to serve current and future residents in the Rocky Mountain region.
