5 Ways to Recruit Like a Pro

recruit_like_proRecruiting top talent is essential if you want your business to thrive. However, your business’s success boils down to more than just numbers; a successful team has similar values and goals. Build your high-producing team with the following tips.

Build relationships with other professionals. Since you never know where you’ll meet the next real estate super star for your team, always be promoting. This will help you meet and connect with other pros and insiders who may be perfect for your team or know someone who is.

Be selective. We all want to work with like-minded, positive people who encourage us to grow and succeed. While you’ll certainly do this as their leader, your agents will also support one another in a healthy work environment. Remember, you don’t need to hire every high-producing agent out there; hire the ones who are the right fit for your company’s culture. Be choosy about who you hire and make sure that they reflect the values that you want in an agent.

Make a list.  Who in the industry would you love to work with? When you make a wish list of the people who exemplify the character, values and performance that you’re looking for, it helps you to narrow your focus. While you may not recruit them to your team right away, by staying in touch, you can continue to build the foundation of a strong working relationship.

Establish a relationship. Once you’re face-to-face with an agent, it’s time to go into full presentation mode, right? No! If you want high-producing agents who will provide value to your business, it’s essential to show that you value them as people and that means respecting them enough to have a conversation with them. Not only will you learn more about them, you’ll also discover how they’ll fit in with your team and how you can support them if they decide to join your business.

Be consistent. When you’re consistent, your recruits know that they can count on you to stay in touch and provide value. This builds trust and respect and will encourage them to refer you to like-minded, high achieving agents just like them.

Are you ready to recruit new agents to your business? Take the Recruiting Challenge! You’ll learn the strategies and techniques that will help you attract the attention of high-producing agents. Click here for more information.
