Long & Foster Real Estate has named Theresa Dalman as the new manager of its Culpeper, Va., office, the company announced. Dalman has been in the real estate business for over 15 years, and during that time, she’s built a reputation for providing exceptional service to her homebuyers and sellers, as well as her fellow agents.

“I look forward to taking on this new role at Long & Foster and to leading the exceptional team of real estate professionals at our Culpeper office,” says Dalman. “Helping others to achieve success is one of my passions, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise, both from my real estate and consulting backgrounds, to help our team to grow their careers and better support buyers and sellers in Culpeper County.”

Dalman most recently worked as a sales associate at Long & Foster’s Warrenton, Va., office. Over the years, she has built her business by focusing on referrals. Her most valued accomplishment is the happiness of her hundreds of clients and their willingness to refer their friends and family in the greater Culpeper area. She has says that establishing and maintaining relationships has been the key to her success. Before starting her real estate career in 2001, Dalman managed the operations of an $18 million division of one of the world’s leading consulting firms. That role not only taught her how to handle stressful situations with ease, but also how to work in a fast-paced and always changing environment—all of which has helped Dalman in her real estate career.

“Supporting today’s real estate agents takes a highly skilled leader, and I’m confident that Theresa’s experience in the real estate and consulting industries will help us to continue achieving success in the Northern Virginia market,” says Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Adding exceptional leaders to our team is how our company has helped local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for over 45 years and how we’ll continue to do so for the years to come.”

Dalman is a strong advocate of ongoing real estate education, and she has earned numerous designations, including the Certified Residential Specialist designation, which is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She also holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR) and the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource certification (SFR).  Dalman is a member of NAR and the Virginia Association of Realtors.

She resides in Culpeper, Va., with her husband, Tim, and has five grown children, Josiah, Benjamin, Jacob, Madeline and Mason.
