Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty) recently announced that it has acquired the assets of Select Realty Service. The Select team has joined the firm, increasing PenFed Realty’s market presence in Prince William County. With this acquisition, PenFed Realty adds a third sales office in the county at Tackett’s Mill shopping center in Lake Ridge, Va, located at 2253 Old Bridge Road. The firm now features 35 sales offices throughout the region.

PenFed Realty Mid-Atlantic President Kevin Wiles says, “This strengthens Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty’s growth initiative by increasing our existing infrastructure and expanding our ability to serve clients in Prince William.”

“I am honored to welcome all of the Select Realty sales professionals. They have demonstrated a commitment to delivering exceptional service, outstanding results and in-depth local expertise for their clients,” Wiles continues. “Their values are aligned with our focus on delivering best-in-class representation to each and every client we serve.”

Select Realty Service was founded in 2004 by Greg Lydell and has steadily grown its market presence year after year. With 20 agents, and more than $90 million in annual sales volume, Select has developed a large client base in the community and a professional reputation throughout the real estate industry. At inception, Ian McVeigh was a major driving force behind Select’s success and became a partner in 2013. Both Lydell and McVeigh will continue as top producing sales leaders for PenFed Realty.

‘We are excited to be joining the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty family,” says Greg Lydell. “PenFed Realty has emerged as a clear market leader in the Mid-Atlantic region. BHHS PenFed is a marketing and technology innovator that is focused on helping agents grow their businesses and better serve their clients. Our team will leverage these new advantages to achieve outstanding results for our clients.”

“Our sales professionals will now have access to greater support resources, a state-of-the-art global network platform, and the expanded reach of a national referral system; enabling them to serve buyers and sellers even better,” Lydell explains.
