NRT LLC recently announced the expansion of its existing operations in the Carolinas with the addition of Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate in Columbia, South Carolina.  NRT’s Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® and Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate, the top two companies in Columbia, together accounted for more than $1 billion in sales volume in 2015, according to MLS figures.

Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate has 12 offices and more than 400 affiliated sales associates. NRT’s existing operations in the Carolinas do business under the banner of Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® and currently have 200 affiliated sales associates and 4 offices in Columbia, 200 affiliated sales associates in Charleston and Aiken, plus 200 sales associates in North Carolina. Together, Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate and Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® will have more than 1,000 affiliated sales associates serving homebuyers and sellers in the Carolinas.

Pauline Bennett, president of Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® in the Carolinas, will expand her role to also oversee Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate as president.  Ron Roe, former president and CEO of Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate, will focus on the company’s combined operations in Columbia in his newly expanded role as regional senior vice president.

“The Carolinas is an important growth market for us, and having Russell & Jeffcoat as part of the NRT family further solidifies our leadership there,” says Kate Rossi, executive vice president of NRT’s Southeast Region. “Russell & Jeffcoat has an excellent reputation, strong leadership and very talented agents, and we look forward to their continued business growth.”

“This announcement positions the No. 1 residential real estate brokerage in Columbia to be part of the No. 1 residential real estate brokerage in the nation, and I personally take great pride in that,” says Roe. “Our companies share the same values and dedication to ethics, remarkable customer service, agent empowerment and community service, and I am highly confident our growth with NRT will continue to provide real estate consumers with outstanding value and service.”

This is NRT’s second acquisition in the Carolinas in the past year. Last April, the brokerage acquired Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® with operations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and Texas.
