Buyers and Sellers Alike Reap the Benefits Associated with Home Warranties

home_warranty_benefitsFrom providing homeowners with peace of mind to safeguarding buyers and sellers from the expense of covered system and appliance failures, home warranties are an integral piece of the puzzle as they make their way through one of the biggest purchases they’ll make in their lifetime.

“I’ve always known about HSA Home Warranty, and have had great experience with the company,” says Jackie Danner, president/broker at RE/MAX Dynamic Properties in Anchorage, Alaska. With 30 years of experience under her belt, Danner oversees two offices and 200 agents, whose clients—both buyers and sellers—have learned the importance of having a home warranty plan in place.

“The warranties offered through HSA are very valuable, especially in today’s market,” says Danner. “Not only do they go a long way toward putting people at ease, they make buyers feel more comfortable knowing that they have some protection if they encounter problems with appliances or other components in their new home after closing.”

In addition to bringing a level of ease to the process, Danner explains that one of the biggest benefits afforded to clients taking advantage of a home warranty centers around the amount of money they stand to save on repairing or replacing covered systems. “HSA home warranties keep our clients happy if they encounter a problem with the components covered under the warranty program,” says Danner. “It also gives us something positive to work with when we receive a call from an upset client with an appliance that’s not working.”

For real estate professionals whose clients are not taking advantage of home warranties? “I would say they’re missing the boat,” says Danner.

“HSA offers a great product, and their representatives are very responsive and easy to work with. For the reasonable cost of a home warranty, it makes sense for those buying or selling their home.”
