David Hardy has been named president of Aureus Property Management, the property management company wholly owned by the Weichert Family of Companies, Weichert recently announced. Hardy, who will be responsible for corporate functions and service teams as well as strategic growth, will report to Denise Smith, president of the Affiliated Services Group for the Weichert Family of Companies.
“I am excited to join Aureus Property Management,” Hardy says. “I look forward to using my expertise to help broaden the delivery of the gold standard in property management for which Aureus is known, and to expand upon the company’s well established efforts in personalized property management solutions for property owners, relocating employees and renters.”
Hardy is the former executive director of FirstService Residential, with 15-plus years prior in various roles at Realogy. He was a board member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), as well as a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity Committee.
