MRED Announces 2018 Leadership Team

Home Industry News

Reading Time: 2 mins read

Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) has announced its 2018 leadership team:

Chairman of the Board – John Matthews
Matthews has been nationally recognized for his sales training, sales coaching, and sales management endeavors. He specializes in building highly productive offices through the recruiting, training, and coaching of new and experienced real estate agents. Matthews is entering his 24th year of real estate leadership and is currently a managing broker at Baird & Warner’s office in Oak Park, Ill.

Vice Chair – Paul Wells
Wells is the broker/owner of RE/MAX of Barrington and RE/MAX Now in Lake Barrington, and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate business. He was named the RE/MAX Northern Illinois’ Multi-Office Broker/Owner of the Year in 2017. He has served as Treasurer for MRED, as well as served on many committees. Wells is also the Treasurer and on the Board of Managers for the Broker Public Portal (BPP) Project.

Secretary – Lynn Madison
Madison owns her own training and development company that promotes the advancement of professionalism in real estate. She has spoken at the National Association of REALTORS® convention and has served on dozens of committees on the national, state and local levels.

Treasurer – Sue Wiskowski-Fair
Wiskowski-Fair has more than 40 years of real estate experience, including listing, selling, brokerage management, franchise sales, and industry leadership. She is currently a broker at Realty Executives Premiere in Aurora, Ill.

“The quality of insight MRED’s four new officers bring to the table is unparalleled,” says Rebecca Jensen, CEO and president of MRED. “I have no doubt we are in the best of hands with these individuals and that as a company we will continue relentlessly moving forward.”

The MRED Board of Managers annually nominates and elects officers. Leadership terms ended for Chairman Jeff Gregory and Secretary Molly Ryan. MRED added new products and services for its customers, further developed the connectMLS mobile-friendly platform, and created a broker outreach department in the past year.

“MRED did incredible things this past year and we’re set up well to keep going strong,” Jensen says. “I’m extremely grateful to the outgoing team for their efforts in making that happen and extremely confident in this new group’s ability to keep it going and reach new heights.”
