Re-Evaluate Your Tech Offerings This Weekend

In the wake of COVID-19 hitting the U.S. for the first time early last year, real estate professionals across the country had to adapt to stay top of mind during a global pandemic. With in-person meetings and open house halted, tech solutions became invaluable.

Now, with mask mandates slowly being lifted, and the end of the pandemic within sight, take some time this weekend to re-evaluate your tech offerings. Here are some we consider keeping:

Online Open Houses

Although most homebuyers in your area will likely crave seeing their potential new home in person before submitting an offer, it stands to reason that this may not always be possible. For out-of-state buyers, online open houses will remain an invaluable resource. Also, in the current red-hot market, buyers may not be able to see a home before offers are placed by other potential buyers; in this case, being able to view a property online is vital as well.

Virtual Staging

Technology has come a long way since the early days of virtual staging. It’s easier now than ever to offer affordable services to your clients that can make their empty homes look like they were taken out of a page of Better Homes and Gardens. In many cases, potential buyers won’t even be able to tell that listing photos have been altered in any way. Other valuable services that virtual staging companies can offer your clients include virtual twilight photography and turning a dead lawn into a vibrant, green exterior.

Personal Website

Many agents and brokers revamped their social media accounts and personal websites during the pandemic to attract more clients. Positioning yourself as a real estate expert in your local area is one of the most effective ways to attract new clients and garner referrals. Showcase your ability to close sales on your website with blog posts and a rundown of the tech solutions you offer clients.

Agents, what are some other tech solutions you’ll continue to offer after the pandemic ends?
