The real estate professionals at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty have donated a record $61,438 over the last two years for Dreams Come True, the First Coast’s only locally based nonprofit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses, the company announced.
“Fulfilling dreams is a life-long goal for us at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty,” says Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder, President and CEO Linda Sherrer. “We are thrilled to present this gift to Dreams Come True. We appreciate the support we received from our valued customers and passionate team members to help make dreams come true for many deserving children.”
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty’s fundraising effort for Dreams Come True began in August 2013 as part of the company’s 25th anniversary year. The Northeast Florida real estate firm set a goal of raising $25,000 over one year for the nonprofit organization, pledging to donate a percentage of each home sale to Dreams Come True.
By August 2014, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty had raised more than $30,500 for Dreams Come True. Monies raised by the company sponsored numerous dreams for children including all expenses paid vacation packages to theme parks and attractions such as Disney World, Discovery Cove and Hawaii for a child and his or her family.
The company wanted to continue to help make dreams come true for special First Coast children and announced its ongoing support to Dreams Come True.

Established in 1984, Dreams Come True has granted more than 3,300 dreams for children battling life-threatening illnesses in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.Dreams Come True applies 100 percent of all donations, unless otherwise designated by the donor, directly toward dreams.
