Coldwell Banker Announces No. 1 Agent for 2017

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC has announced its No. 1 agent for 2017, Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Malibu, Calif. (Malibu West office). Cortazzo broke the company’s record, ranking above 91,000 affiliated agents internationally for adjusted gross commission (AGC) income, with nearly $574 million in sales volume for the year.

2017 marks the second straight year that Cortazzo, a Global Luxury specialist, has been named the No. 1 agent. Cortazzo also ranked as the No. 1 agent in rental income in North America.

He was presented the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier award, only given to the top 1 percent of affiliated agents worldwide, and he additionally received the No. 1 Agent in Southern California award.

Cortazzo has achieved No. 1 status at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greater Los Angeles 11 times over the past 12 years. Cortazzo has made the Top 10 Sales Associates in North America for AGC list 15 times, achieving the No. 1 status on that list nine times. He also ranked No.1 in North America in Rental Income three times.

With more than $4.5 billion in sales since 2000, Cortazzo has consistently ranked in Coldwell Banker’s elite top 1 percent of agents internationally. An avid philanthropist, Cortazzo supports more than 40 local and international charities, including the Malibu Boys and Girls Club, Point Dume Marine Science School, Farm Sanctuary, UNICEF, Operation Smile and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
