One of the nation’s priciest states will soon welcome Zillow Offers.
In early 2019, the cash-offer program will become available in Riverside, Calif., according to an announcement by Zillow. As with other markets, brokers will partner with the portal in transactions. The brokers have not yet been named.
Zillow Offers is currently in Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix, with Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C., and Houston on tap this winter. In November, Zillow announced that close to 20,000 homeowners have requested a Zillow Offer.
“Zillow Offers launched in April, and we’ve already helped thousands of home sellers through one of the most stressful times of their life: selling their home,” says Jeremy Wacksman, Zillow brand president. “Many homeowners are trying to time the sale of their current home with the purchase of a new one, and with rising inventory, this process can become even more uncertain. Zillow Offers alleviates the stress and complexity that typically go along with selling a home, and we can’t wait to begin helping Riverside homeowners early next year.”
Through the program, homeowners can obtain an offer from Zillow, with no obligation and usually within a short timespan. If accepted, Zillow will pay a commission to the local practitioner involved in the transaction; if not, the company will connect the homeowner to a partner or Premier Agent in the area.
