RISMEDIA, Feb. 20, 2007-¬The Metropolitan Consolidated Association of REALTORS® (MCAR) recently named David Elya as their 2007 president. In this position, Elya will oversee all of the Association¹s committees, will serve as the Association¹s representative and spokesperson both statewide and nationally, and will work to incorporate the ideas put forth in the strategic plan.
Involved in MCAR since 2000, Elya has served on the Board of Directors since 2002 and has been the chairman of several committees. He is also active as an elected Director of several other Realtor organizations including the National Association of Realtors and the Michigan Association of Realtors.
Currently broker/owner with the Realty Executives Group in Shelby Township, Elya has more than 16 years of full-time experience in real estate. A licensed builder, he specializes in single family, new construction, multi-family, condominium and vacant land sales.
