RISMEDIA, Feb. 23, 2007-Greg Rokeh, GRI, Watson Realty Corp. Realtors® was recently recognized for his professionalism and commitment to the real estate industry with the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association's 2006 Realtor® of the Year Award, the highest esteemed honor bestowed on an ORRA member. The award was presented as part of ORRA's seventh annual Showcase Awards, which was held at Sea World's Ports of Call.
Greg joined Watson Realty Corp. in 1986 and is currently a Corporate Property Specialist with Watson Relocation Services Orlando office.
His 20-year service to ORRA includes a climb up the officer ranks that culminated as the Association's 2004 president. He held chairmanships of most of ORRA's major committees-professional standards, strategic planning, and budget and finance; and, in addition, he continues to be active on both ORRA's governmental affairs committee and the Realtor® Political Action Committee. Greg also serves as Vice Chairman of ORRA's Florida Real Estate Foundation and has represented the association on a variety of community initiatives such as myregion.org.
Rokeh is currently a director for both the Florida Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®. He is also taking part in efforts to reform Florida's homeowners insurance situation by serving on the Market Accountability Advisory Committee.
In addition to the Realtor® of the Year Award, Greg also received a President's Award for sharing his leadership, support and knowledge to the immediate Past President as well as a special 20-year-service pin, having served the ORRA board annually on at least one committee for as many years.
