RISMEDIA, June 5, 2009-Tarasoft Matrix®, a fast and powerful new software platform that will give real estate professionals unprecedented access to the crucial data they need to best serve home buyers and renters, was introduced this week by MLSListings Inc. and Tarasoft Corporation.

“The real estate industry in Northern California is among the most volatile and fast-moving of any region in North America,” says Jim Harrison, president and CEO of MLSListings, Inc. the leading provider of real estate property listings in San Francisco, San Jose/Silicon Valley, and Monterey California. “For brokers and agents to stay on top of this market – and give their clients the best possible service – we must provide the latest, and most powerful Web 2.0 tools…and that’s Tarasoft Matrix.”

Tarasoft Matrix® represents the latest complement to the MLSListings suite of products and services, which is already the region’s most powerful tool kit for residential real estate agents and brokers. Among its most useful features, Tarasoft Matrix will include, for the first time, property and tax data across all 58 California counties.

What this means in application is that the 18,000 real estate agents and 6,000 brokers who subscribe to MLSListings will now be able to access Matrix on-line and quickly search for the best fit for a client among all of the listings in the region, link that client to virtual tours, compare pricing with other listings, identify foreclosures and even search the tax and ownership history of any property in California.

Says Harrison, “Once we identified what was needed, there was no question which platform we wanted – and which company we wanted to partner with: Tarasoft. They are the best in the world for this application.”

“We are thrilled to bring Matrix to MLSListings,” says Brian de Schepper, executive vice president of Tarasoft. “We think it is a perfect fit: MLSListings has quickly built a reputation as a true Silicon Valley company: innovative, fast-moving and technologically savvy. And we think that Matrix, with its boundless scalability and turbo fast performance, is the only solution that can keep pace with the demands that MLSListings’ clients will place upon it. It’s going to be an exciting partnership.”
