Matthew Rathbun

Matthew Rathbun is an international speaker within the real estate industry, covering topics ranging from marketing technology to leadership development.

As national first vice president of NAR’s Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), he was instrumental in launching the national certification “Marketing the Listing.” Additionally, he hosted multiple classes and webinars both nationally and internationally for NAR, REBI, RPC and CRD, covering a variety of topics, notably AI.

“I love seeing how quickly new agents, especially younger ones, are gravitating to technology. The marriage of the agent’s knowledge, humanizing the transaction again, and adding technology to increase productivity is an alchemy that I enjoy watching agents embrace,” says Rathbun. “Modern agents are doing those things more than ever before, and I love being a mentor and educator that helps them with that.”

In addition to his educational work in 2023, he led the launch of Coldwell Banker Elite’s 10th office in Richmond, Virginia. He is also on the board of directors for the Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS®, working to create affordable housing and meet housing needs in his community.
