Prudential Preferred Realty Introduces GPS-Enabled Real Estate Search App

Home Marketing

Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, December 6, 2010—RISMedia’s Real Estate Information Network® (RREIN) Member Prudential Preferred Realty is revolutionizing the way home buyers search for homes in the Pittsburgh area with the introduction of their Web-based homes for sale application. The “app,” which is an upgrade to the RREIN offering, is now available for iPhone, Blackberry and Droid users, and it allows users to get up-to-date information quickly about all homes for sale in the Pittsburgh area, not just homes listed by Prudential Preferred Realty.

With this application, consumers will never have to wonder about the list price of houses they pass—they can get the answer with one click on their smartphone. Simply launch the Prudential Preferred Realty app on your iPhone, Blackberry or Droid and click “GPS Search.” You will instantly see a list of the 10 homes for sale nearest you. “Click on the address of any home on the list and you will see the list price, all interior photos and number of bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s that easy,” said Ron Croushore, CEO of RREIN Member Prudential Preferred Realty.

In addition to its GPS-search capability, this mobile app features full search capabilities allowing users to search all homes for sale in the Pittsburgh area. The app also features an easy-to-use open house search, a mortgage calculator, and the ability to schedule a home showing right from a smartphone.

“This is the first time any real estate company in the greater Pittsburgh area has offered such an all-inclusive service,” Croushore adds, “and we’re pleased to offer it at no-cost to all consumers. It has been our long-standing mission to give our customers the utmost real estate experience by making available the most up-to-date tools and cutting-edge technology. This may be our coolest feature yet.”

Earlier this year, RREIN Member Prudential Preferred Realty unveiled a user-friendly texting feature that allows users to text a unique code listed on yard signs to get a quick return text message with information about the home.
