RISMEDIA, December 23, 2010—1000watt Consulting and Australia-based Classified Ad Ventures announced the launch of a new joint initiative—the Global Real Estate Index (www.globalrealestateindex.com). The goal of the Global Real Estate Index is to provide a comprehensive directory of real estate technology service providers around the world.
Originally launched in the United States as the 1000watt Index, the new Global Real Estate Index has now been expanded to include products and services in three key regions, including U.S. & Canada, Asia Pacific and Europe. Latin America and South America will be added shortly.
“When we launched the 1000watt Index in January, we knew it would never stop growing,” said 1000watt partner Brian Boero. “Over the last year, we’ve steadily added companies and categories. But during this time, we also received many submissions from companies overseas. We realized many of them were interesting to us. A lot of innovation was indeed happening outside U.S. borders.”
Categories included in the new Global Real Estate Index include website providers, CRM, lead generation, data, mapping, document management, video, virtual tours, social media, local data and mobile apps amongst others.
