Company Spotlight: SharperAgent Continuing to Provide ‘Market Advantage’ to Real Living Brokers and Agents

In a time when just about every real estate professional around is looking for a competitive advantage, Real Living brokers and agents have truly enjoyed a market advantage for more than three years—SharperAgent’s Web-based marketing system.

Since 2008, Market Advantage, Real Living’s “go-to” marketing resource, has been powered by SharperAgent, helping thousands of Real Living sales professionals with their personal marketing, prospecting and sales needs.

How important is Market Advantage to Real Living’s industry-leading technology initiatives? More than 7 out of 10 Real Living brokers and agents use Market Advantage.

“Market Advantage is a core component of our new technology platform, our Web strategy and online marketing platform for brokers and agents,” says Harley E. Rouda, Jr., president of Real Living. “We offer it to all of our offices from coast to coast, because we believe it provides the widest array of marketing resources, while also offering a significant competitive and recruiting advantage.”

With 3,000 templates and more being added all the time, this comprehensive mix of marketing materials helps Real Living’s agents quickly connect and then stay in contact with consumers—both existing customers and prospects—online and offline.

And with the recent launch of SharperAgent’s latest release, the critical task of marketing themselves and their clients’ properties just got even easier for Real Living brokers and agents.

“It is always great to have a partner who sees the value of what we have created and makes it an important part of their offering,” says Brian Wildermuth, president and co-founder of SharperAgent. “We are pleased to be a part of Real Living’s success and proud to have them as a partner for three more years,” continues Wildermuth, alluding to the fact that SharperAgent recently signed a new, three-year contract with Real Living.

Using Market Advantage, Real Living agents are able to quickly and conveniently create a wide range of professional-quality marketing materials. The innovative tool enables agents to produce materials in a variety of formats: email distribution, direct mail, self printing, and/or post online and to popular social media sites. What’s more, with Market Advantage agents can easily coordinate and execute pre-built email and mail campaigns—with just a few clicks of the mouse.

No matter what their budgets or time constraints may be, Market Advantage keeps agents in front of home buyers and sellers with relevant messages, lead generation campaigns—even full-blown marketing campaigns designed to help agents maximize their time and gain marketshare.

“With Market Advantage, each of our agents has a bona fide marketing resource they can customize for their own specific business needs,” says Mike Watts, broker/owner of Real Living Carolina Property. “In fact, Market Advantage, along with the Real Living technology platform, are key reasons why we’ve recently recruited five new agents and also received a $3 million listing.”

Following are just a few of the new features SharperAgent has developed for the just-released version of Market Advantage:

New Interface
The new Market Advantage interface was designed to help agents more quickly navigate the program’s comprehensive marketing materials library. Its appearance more closely resembles an online shopping cart experience and gives agents an opportunity to quickly view pieces in any section of the marketing materials tree.

New Editor Interface
The editor interface has been completely updated to help users easily make edits on any marketing material template. Agents now have the ability to edit any text part of a marketing piece “inline.”

Sort
Agents can now sort through any materials in the marketing materials library by:
-Alphabetical
Materials are pre-sorted alphabetically.
-Most Used
Sort pieces by popularity in any given section of the tree based on their use (email, print, online Web post) in the past two months.
-Newest
Sort pieces by when they were added to the Marketing Materials library.

Browser Compatibility
Market Advantage is now compatible with and can be utilized on all popular Internet Browsers including:
-Internet Explorer
-Mozilla Firefox
-Safari
-Chrome

Google Maps
Agents can now add a Google Map to any marketing piece by selecting the appropriate address pinpoint. Maps can be modified several ways using one of four Google Map types: Roadmap, Satellite, Terrain or Hybrid.

IDX Integration
Real Living Market Advantage now supports IDX Integrated templates to make property marketing easier than ever. IDX integration lets agents and brokers create and edit marketing pieces that are pre-loaded with photos and property information details.

Web Posting and Visual Tours
As a part of Real Living’s upgrade packages (Expert and Executive), agents can create unique URLs for individual marketing pieces to post on the Web and promote themselves and their properties on Craigslist, their personal websites, broker’s site, or community pages. Market Advantage’s visual tour product—Marketing in Motion—lets agents create unlimited slideshow tours and post them to the Web or email them to potential clients.

Rouda summed up Market Advantage from SharperAgent best: “With Market Advantage, there’s never an excuse to not market your services and your clients’ properties,” Rouda says. “The platform can be delivered across many different channels so an agent can continue marketing no matter what their budget is: whether it’s creating marketing materials using a desktop printer, creating an email campaign or posting marketing messages on their own social media sites,” Rouda adds. “With SharperAgent, we believe Real Living truly has a market advantage.”
